Lois Fink has battled Crohn's disease since she was a young child. It was finally diagnosed when she was 17 and weighed 62 lbs. After many years of struggling with steroids and the gradual removal of diseased sections of the bowel, she had ostomy surgery at the age of 36.
Finally, she was able to live without wondering about the location of the closest bathroom and without being terrified of having an accident. She looks wonderful, and as she says, "Ostomy surgery gave me back what Crohn's disease took away my life."
